Dan and Jack bamf the fiction and discuss Season 11's Alone Again Naturally-Diddily, the infamous Simpsons episode where Maude Flanders is killed. What does Jesus do in The Book of Maude? Who is in Aquaman's rogues gallery? Why isn't Josh Brolin Juno enough for you? All that plus The Looming Frowers, Margers, Banjeemus, trigonometry humor, and the Mighty Morphin Podcast Rangers.Read More
Worst Episode Ever is a podcast by people who love “The Simpsons,” for people who love “The Simpsons,” about how much we hate “The Simpsons.” Our mission is to find which episode is THE worst episode ever and if you have a good one, you can suggest it right here and take a look at our official rankings here!
90s Percentile is a podcast talking everything 90s, and maybe also everything before and after. On 90s Percentile, Jack and Dan randomly select your listener topics and discuss live-to-tape for exactly sixty minutes in our patented WEE way. You can suggest your 90s topic right here!
It's our actual one year anniversary! AND the day Jack gets a smartphone! AND it's Back to the Future day, the date Mary McFly travels to in Back to the Future II! So to celebrate Jack, Dan, and special guest (and fellow Son of Meffrey) Rob Mulhall debate what worked and did not work in Season 11's Bart to the Future, an episode which has very little to do with Back to the Future. But it is a flashforward episode where Bart is a pothead moocher, Lisa is the President and Homer & Marge search for Lincoln's gold for some reason. What is the quintessential 90s suffix? Why doesn't Marty McFly just wear a condom? Why don't we need roads? All that plus Dumbledorfs, Bleemus, and WEE fail English.Read More
Some BODY once told us that Season 11's Behind the Laughter would be a great episode for Worst Episode Ever... so we watched it! Yes this extended parody of VH1's "Behind the Music" first aired 15 years ago (and slightly more than 15 years since Dan & Jack went to go see the Norm MacDonald bomb Screwed). It's basically a mockumentary looking at an alternate reality Simpsons family, and it's one of the least confusing things going on in today's episode. Would this have worked as a series finale for "The Simpsons?" Do people today even remember "Behind the Music?" (Does it matter for enjoying this episode?) And was this a record for how quickly the show fell apart? Plus, Groophic makes a new friend, the ghost of a child that Jack murdered who may or may not be real.Read More
We're slightly delayed, but back with a new and terrible episode. Now does that mean the Simpsons episode is bad or our show? You'll have to listen to find out. Dan and Jack watch Season 11's Kill the Alligator and Run, one of the most requested episodes, then blame all of you for their subsequent inconsolable rage. Homer is depressed and needs a vacation, but unfortunately it's Spring Break and Kid Rock is there. Hilarity (?) and gator-cide ensue. Why is Homer's crippling depression done away with after an act break? John Swartzwelder wrote this one too? And should I stop the hypothetical questions and just post the damn episode? All that, plus, alligator related WEE-tractions, Schumacher-era Batman, and a Dalek exercise video inspired by Body by Jake.Read More
It’s the inaugural episode of “Worst Episode Ever,” a podcast where we try to find which episode of “The Simpsons” is the actual worst episode ever. Listen as we struggle to make it through “Saddlesore Galactica,” a tipping point between the classic “The Simpsons” of yesteryear and the pale imitation the show became. Did we make it through our first episode without breaking into song? Do we uncover a magical conspiracy of elven jockeys? Will Duncan the Horse ever be seen again? The answers to none of these questions await in our first episode ever!Read More
